The VeriSign® Internet Profile Service for Registrars
is designed to help registrars learn more about the domain names they
manage, and in turn use this information to increase registrations and
renewals as well as watch for industry trends. There is no cost to registrars
to participate.
The Internet Profile Service for Registrars provides
a new way to learn more about the com, .net, .tv and .cc domain names
registered on behalf of customers and identify new business opportunities.
The service uses multiple attributes – such as Web site content, business
categorization, domain name resolution status, and others – to deliver
relevant, actionable reports that help identify customers and prospects
for targeted marketing campaigns.
Reports containing domain names are cross-checked
with the existing zone to ensure they are available for registration,
and are specific to each registrar’s customer list. Reports identifying
new market opportunities will be available soon as well. We offer a
variety of sell-through marketing materials for each report.
